Our Purpose

“The purpose of the Hutchinson Church of God is to glorify, honor, and worship God and His only begotten son, Jesus Christ.”

We believe that we do so by doing what God has called us to do. We have been called to “go into all the world and preach the gospel” (Mk 16:15), and that God has equipped us to do so through His power (Acts 1:8). Specifically we will strive to help each individual believer to develop their full potential for ministry, we will make the Bible center to all our teaching, we will make worshipping God and honoring Jesus the focus of our church, we will lift up one another as we grow together in the Lord, and we will strive to help each individual develop an outreach style compatible with their personality, so sharing the gospel will become a normal part of each person’s life.
